Business Consultant

As a Business Consultant you will be responsible for building and maintaining our client relations. We're looking for someone that has a strong set of analytical and communication skills, because you will work closely with other business consultants to identify key opportunities. Of course, we will be there to teach, help and guide you along the way!

About the job

What you will do

Handle support tickets in Freshdesk on an individual basis.
Provide support to internal sales clients (based outside of Rotterdam).
Add value to major projects in Regulatory Compliance.
Fully understand and build (demo) functionalities. This includes being able to process client data into the Tradesparent system and build clear dashboards out of these data. I.e. Model the data in such a way that information is visible and clearly explainable.
Think along with business development/application development items. How can we improve the current application and or the current methods of working? (Practically this means thinking along in knowledge transfer sessions/design sessions/architecture sessions/UX-UI sessions.
Ability to understand the statistical methods that are used in VaR and Stress Testing
Calculations. Get to know the concepts of Risk Management and how these are incorporated in the Tradesparent application.
Being able to handle raw datasheets and process these in to clear and workable dashboards in the Tradesparent web-application.
Good and regular contact with the development team in Romania when this is needed to issue developments in Rotterdam or elsewhere.

What you will bring

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration or relevant field.
Interest in global commodity markets.
Basic understanding of financial risk management concepts hedging/Var/stress testing.
Entrepreneurial, dedicated self-starter with a hands-on approach.
A real team player that is not afraid to take initiatives.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Skilled in Microsoft office and SQL and ability to structure data processes.
Basic knowledge in financial measures, such as P&L en MtM.
Eager to learn and develop yourself and others around you.
Appreciates to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
Based in the Netherlands.
